A short and sweet update this week - I'm continuing to close in on the conclusion of The Seven Isles, an epic fantasy adventure in the midst of a cover update. The print editions will get the same face-lift as their ebook counterparts in the coming weeks, as will the pages on this website and elsewhere.
If there's a reason beyond flights of fancy for cover changes, you could say it's in the 'business', as in, maybe tweaking a cover will bring in new readers, fans, or just curious browsers. Maybe publishing fads have changed, and you want to keep up to date. Or, which is most often my reason, you just get twitchy for a change.
And, you know, it's just fun to mess with.
Meanwhile, the Youtube channel continues apace with a solo narrated edition of The Bonds of Stone uploaded this week--that's the fourth book in the aforementioned Seven Isles series. This is a digital version, the type I do largely as an editing exercise and just upload for fun, but if you want to give it a listen and have a good time, well, there it is!
I'll have more substantial stuff coming up soon, including Jay's Price of Peace audiobook (currently in quality control here and there), kicking off his sublime narration of the series.
